From May until October you can have a go at the paddle orienteering in the Ogge lake 20 control points have been placed out on islands and idyllic bays, and maps with descriptions can be bought either at ‘Kristiansand og Oppland Turistforening (KOT)’ or at Ogge Gjersteheim. These institutions work together on this project also with ‘Inspirasjon Sørlandet A/S’. In October there will be a paddlers’ meeting at Ogge Gjesteheim when prizes will be awarded to those who have found the largest number of control points. Children who have found at least 10 points will also get an ice cream at the kiosk. Canoeing and kayaking are becoming more and more popular among young and old. It’s a quiet, physical activity, with closeness to nature and the wildlife making it an exciting experience. Art Exhibitions The sales exhibition of lithographies by Mona Ida Håverstad Frøysnes has been very successful. You can see or buy great pictures with exceptional motives. The exhibition contains 25 graphical works of art. We are also exhibiting paintings by a local artist from Iveland; Anne Synnøve Grossås. Her spectacular paintings can be seen in ‘Gamlestua’.
